Heyo, so I'm Koha (AKA Sammy), from Melbourne, Australia. After over 14 years working in banking and finance, in August, 2024, the office politics of working for one of the Big 4 Banks in Australia caused me to hit the wall, hard, and, after a weekend of agonising about it, I handed in my 4 weeks notice. 

Luckily, I have a phenomenal support system in place, so I didn't have to worry about not being employed, but Koha's Whimsy didn't become a thought until around early December 2024. Prior to that, I was considering learning web design, because, at heart, I am a creative person, but then, because of a Kris Kringle (Secret Santa) selection, I fell into the rabbit hole that is polymer clay and jewellery. From there, Koha's Whimsy was born.
