Use a soft, dry makeup brush or microfiber cloth to sweep away surface dust regularly.

Never submerge polymer clay in water, or put it in a dishwasher, as prolonged moisture or heat can degrade it. Do not use chemicals on your jewellery as that can damage the surface.

While polymer clay is flexible and strong, delicate parts can snap under pressure or if dropped.
